Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jon Jones!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Anderson rushes Jones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Anderson is fighting off a takedown attempt but Jones is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Anderson to the mat. Anderson regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Anderson lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Jones is adopting a defensive guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Anderson throws a big right hand that misses.
Jones pulls Anderson in to control the position.

Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Anderson moves into the clinch.
Anderson goes for a takedown in the clinch but Jones prevents it.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Anderson.
Jones blocks an elbow strike from Anderson.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Jones closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Anderson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anderson avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Jones misses with a few strikes there.
Anderson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Jones gets tackled into the cage by Anderson. Anderson maintains the clinch.

Anderson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Jones drives through with a takedown into Anderson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Anderson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Anderson clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the cage.

Jones turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Jones is looking to take a break and control but Anderson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Anderson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Anderson is not content to let Jones control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jones looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Anderson is avoiding damage well.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Anderson can't do much from the bottom here.

Jones stands up and beckons Anderson to his feet.

Jones has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Anderson seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Jones can turn it around.

George Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jones is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Jones is trying to stand up here but Anderson is controlling him well.
