The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thullah Kaaan shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Rizzo let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Rizzo misses with a combination
and Thullah Kaaan cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Thullah Kaaan uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Rizzo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rizzo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Thullah Kaaan defends it nicely.
Thullah Kaaan closes the distance and clinches up with Rizzo, looking for a takedown. Thullah Kaaan pushes Rizzo against the cage but Rizzo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thullah Kaaan has his takedown stuffed
and Rizzo counters with a one-two to the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jolly Thullah Kaaan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rizzo tries to clinch but Thullah Kaaan moves out of range.

Thullah Kaaan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rizzo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thullah Kaaan somewhat.

Thullah Kaaan catches Rizzo with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

A punch lands to the side of Rizzo 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Jolly Thullah Kaaan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rizzo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rizzo wants it to stay on the feet.
A jab from Thullah Kaaan finds it's way through Rizzo's defenses.
Thullah Kaaan misses with a head kick.
Rizzo throws out a powerful jab.
Thullah Kaaan darts in looking for a takedown but Rizzo gets double underhooks and turns Thullah Kaaan into the cage.
As Thullah Kaaan backs off Rizzo throws a huge counter combo but Thullah Kaaan manages to avoid it all.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rizzo, as that shot connected.
Rizzo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Thullah Kaaan jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Thullah Kaaan dives in and grabs Rizzo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rizzo pushes down on Thullah Kaaan's head and hops out.
Rizzo dives in for a single leg takedown but Thullah Kaaan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Thullah Kaaan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rizzo's head backwards.
Rizzo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Thullah Kaaan is rocked!
Thullah Kaaan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oh Thullah Kaaan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rizzo lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Thullah Kaaan out cold! Thullah Kaaan is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
