The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Styles blocks a head kick by Linster.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Styles! But no joy.
Nice uppercut lands for Styles. That snapped Linster's head back.

It looks like Davey Linster has been cut.
Styles connects with a body shot.
Styles swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A counter left hand to the body from Linster misses its target.
Linster takes one to the side of the head.
Styles misses with a body shot.
Linster dives in and grabs Styles's left leg, looking for a takedown. Styles pushes down on Linster's head and hops out.
Styles looks to score with a jab to the body but Linster is just out of range.
Linster tries to counter by clinching up but Styles breaks away and moves out of range.
Styles takes a swing at Linster's ribcage but misses.
Linster ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Linster avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linster defending well as Styles loads up on a big left hand.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Styles has eaten all the pies!
Styles tries to close the distance and clinch up but Linster swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fighters circling - Styles throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Linster takes a jab right on the kisser.

Linster misses with a two punch combination.
Styles misses with a body shot.
Davey Linster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Styles throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Linster shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Linster stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Styles circles away from the clinch attempt.
Styles lands with a hook. Linster tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Linster keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
A swing and a miss from Styles.
Styles throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Linster.

Styles cracks Linster with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Linster looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Styles finish him?

Linster is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Styles ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Linster's jaw. Linster's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Styles does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
