Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Rogers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keni Susi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Susi is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Metallica - Hero of the Day. Steve Rogers has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 34 - 0, fighting out of New York, Steve Rogers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 35 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keni Susi!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers misses with a double jab.

Rogers rushes Susi and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Susi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rogers just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Susi blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Rogers lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Rogers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Susi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Rogers keeping moving, preventing Susi from controlling successfully.
Rogers wants to get back to his feet but Susi is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Susi told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rogers throws a nice looking combination but Susi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Susi decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Susi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rogers is just riding it out for now. Susi eventually gives up the hold.

Susi is looking for a kimura but Rogers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Susi to get the leverage.

Rogers is defending against the submission attempts here by Susi.
Susi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rogers knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Susi is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rogers defends it well.
Rogers is looking to escape.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Susi works his way into full mount!
Rogers is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Susi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rogers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rogers shrugs it off.

Susi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Susi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rogers pushes Susi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Susi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Susi goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Rogers rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Susi's guard! Nice work there by Rogers!
Rogers would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Susi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rogers is looking to stand up but Susi won't let him.

Susi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rogers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rogers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Susi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rogers as he jumps to the side.

Rogers throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Susi on the side of the head.

Susi closes the distance and clinches up with Rogers, looking for a takedown. Susi pushes Rogers against the ropes but Rogers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Rogers is trying to get back to his feet.
Rogers is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Susi can do to turn this around?
Susi is looking to take a break and control but Rogers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Susi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rogers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
