Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Neal Pitts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pitts moves away.
Douglas throws a jab when Pitts was well out of range.
Douglas throws a big shot that misses.
A slow jab from Douglas misses its intended target.
Pitts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Douglas tries to avoid it but Pitts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Douglas to the ground. Douglas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pitts slips a straight right by Douglas.
A big right from Douglas misses.
Pitts moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Neal Pitts has been cut.
Douglas scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Douglas is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Douglas tries to bum rush Pitts with a series of wild strikes but Pitts uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pitts misses with a takedown
and Douglas counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice sprawl there from Douglas as Pitts shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neal Pitts. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Douglas misses the jab.
Douglas is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Pitts hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

A relieved looking Mikey Douglas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
