Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johan Pahlm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Wibowo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pahlm might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Peace Love & Pitbulls - Dog Church . Johan Pahlm could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kevin Wibowo's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Wibowo!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wibowo takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Wibowo dives in and grabs Pahlm's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pahlm pushes down on Wibowo's head and hops out.
It looked like Pahlm was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wibowo.
Wibowo lands a glancing blow to the side of Pahlm's head.
Pahlm misses with a low kick.
Pahlm gets caught flat footed, as Wibowo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Wibowo trying to control but Pahlm is working from the bottom.
My spies in Evolve Fight Team inform me that Wibowo has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Wibowo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Wibowo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Pahlm trying to control the position.
Pahlm has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Wibowo passes Pahlm's left leg - he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wibowo looks to land a strike but Pahlm avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Wibowo throws an elbow that misses. Pahlm uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wibowo's guard. Nice move by Pahlm!
Pahlm is pushing down on Wibowo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wibowo is fighting to maintain full guard but Pahlm has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wibowo tries to get to full guard but Pahlm has control of the leg.
Wibowo is not content to let Pahlm control the position.
Wibowo slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wibowo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Pahlm wants to control from the top but Wibowo keeps moving.
Wibowo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pahlm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Wibowo is tightening it up a little... Pahlm has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pahlm reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pahlm taps out! Nice BJJ there by Wibowo!
