The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan IV throws an overhand right that lands on Gravas's shoulder, as Gravas tries to avoid the shot.
Gravas drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sullivan IV sprawls and moves away.
Sullivan IV changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Gravas slips under a jab.
A big right from Sullivan IV misses.
Gravas keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Sullivan IV throws a big shot that misses.
John L Sullivan IV seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gravas looks to land a combination but Sullivan IV avoids it well.
Gravas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sullivan IV lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sullivan IV feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Gravas sprawling to the canvas! Gravas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sullivan IV finish him?!
Gravas is rocked!
It looks like Latka Gravas has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sullivan IV fakes the body blow, causing Gravas to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gravas goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
