Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vrando Vraganza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vraganza comes into the arena with Desabafo blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vrando Vraganza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Torres!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Torres. Those never looked like landing.
An attempted straight right counter from Vraganza misses the target.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Torres has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Torres throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vraganza drives through with a takedown into guard.
Torres had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vraganza defends it easily.
Torres looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Vraganza has picked Torres up and slammed him! Torres can't keep hold of the triangle and Vraganza manages to pass to side control!
Vraganza working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Vraganza cracks Torres with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Vraganza gets to mount! Torres was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vraganza lands a big shot there that rocks Torres but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Vraganza wants to control the pace but Torres is squirming around nicely.

Torres defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Vraganza.
Vraganza has control of Torres's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Torres regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Vraganza has hold of Torres's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Torres manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vraganza is working for a guillotine from mount but Torres frees his head quite easily.
Torres has left one of his arms exposed and Vraganza doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Torres screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
