The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toole throws a looping overhand right but Singh ducks down to avoid it.
Singh throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Toole on the side of the head.
Singh slaps away a takedown attempt from Toole, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Toole fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Singh avoids it really well and circles away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Toole had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Singh defends it easily.

Singh got a little sloppy there for a moment and Toole has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Singh has managed to get both his arms back between Toole's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Toole crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Singh - the referee stops the clock and Toole gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Singh. Toole manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
