The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Hernandez looks to score with a jab to the body but Goncalves is just out of range.
Goncalves is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hernandez.

Goncalves throws a hook but Hernandez avoids it easily.

Goncalves cracks Hernandez with a big right hand and Hernandez goes down!

It looks like Sergio Hernandez has been cut.

Goncalves drops back looking for a leg! Hernandez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hernandez manages to kick Goncalves off! Goncalves jumps back into Hernandez's guard.
Hernandez is still in real trouble! Can Goncalves finish him?
Goncalves forces his way into half guard.

Hernandez seems to have recovered his senses.

Goncalves is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hernandez is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hernandez flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Goncalves anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hernandez and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Goncalves slips an arm under Hernandez chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Goncalves has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Goncalves is squeezing on Hernandez like an anaconda would it's prey. Hernandez fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
