And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juronen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Juronen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Satoru on the ground.
Juronen scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Nice takedown defense from Juronen. No joy for Satoru on that attempt.
Satoru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Juronen pinned against the cage. Juronen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Satoru has a takedown stuffed.
Joe Juronen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshida Satoru.
Satoru shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Juronen tries to reverse the position but Satoru maintains control.

You get the feeling that Juronen really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Juronen reaches up to try and control the position but Satoru seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Juronen rolls and tries to escape and now Satoru has his back!

Satoru is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Juronen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
