Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shogun Ninja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalim Condo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ninja's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Bonde da Oskley - Cachorrinho. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Condo looks for a takedown but Ninja sprawls well.
Condo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ninja swivels and escapes.
Condo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ninja tries to avoid it but Condo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ninja to the ground. Ninja escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shogun Ninja has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kalim Condo.
Condo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ninja sprawls well. He's pushed Condo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Ninja misses with a two punch combination.
Ninja throws a series of punches but Condo avoids them all with ease.
Ninja is breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ninja tries to clinch there but Condo circles away.

Condo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ninja counters with a left and a right that stings Condo.
Condo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ninja as he jumps to the side.
Condo shoots in for a double leg but Ninja sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Condo has a takedown stuffed.
Condo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Some wild striking there from Ninja.

Ninja throws a right hand that Condo ducks under and follows up with a left that Condo also avoids with ease.
Condo shoots for a double leg takedown but Ninja sprawls well. He's pushed Condo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Condo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Condo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ninja pinned against the cage. Ninja gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Condo falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ninja counters with a one-two to the body.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Ninja throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Condo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ninja as he avoids it easily.
Condo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ninja is fending him off so far but Condo persists. Nope, Ninja circles away and we're back to standing.
Ninja takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ninja moves out of range as Condo strikes.
Nice sprawl there from Ninja as Condo shoots in.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shogun Ninja dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A right-left combo lands from Condo.
Kalim Condo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Condo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ninja swivels and escapes.
Ninja throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Condo fails with the takedown
and Ninja counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Condo will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Ninja knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Condo on the ground.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Condo is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Ninja tries to stand but Condo is controlling from the bottom.
Condo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Condo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Ninja is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Condo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Ninja's back instead.
Condo is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Ninja holding both Condo 's hands and preventing any damage.
Ninja is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Condo gets his way!
Ninja controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Condo lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ninja is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Condo is cranking Ninja's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Ninja! He's tightened the choke and Ninja is tapping out!
