Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Govan Aerts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubba Red (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Red comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Black Stone Cherry Bulldozer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bubba Red is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aerts doesn't manage to clinch there - Red circles away.
Red tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Red tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Aerts defends well and Red ends up having to push Aerts into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Red shoots in looking for a takedown but Aerts manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Red's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Govan Aerts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Aerts tries to close the distance and clinch but Red swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Aerts shoots in for a takedown but Red shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Red shoots in and drives through. Aerts sprawls well.
Govan Aerts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Red.
Aerts shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Red is trying to defend but Aerts finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
