Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kagen Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thrul moves away.
Thrul walks forward, straight into a front kick from Knight.
Knight on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Thrul. Thrul obviously looking to wear him down.
Thrul fails with an attempt to clinch.
Knight has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Crunch! Thrul slams his shin into Knight's torso.
Knight throws a good cross that connects.
Knight pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Knight throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Knight takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Knight is fighting off a takedown attempt but Thrul is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Knight to the mat. Knight regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Thrul shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Knight as he avoids it easily.

Thrul lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It appears Thrul was looking to counter with a kick there.
Knight lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Knight wants to clinch up but Thrul keeps it at a distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knight throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thrul was covering up waiting for the punch and Knight finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Thrul has his foot on Knight's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Knight works his way back into a safe position though.

Knight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Thrul has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knight has managed to get both his arms back between Thrul's legs - danger averted.

Knight fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thrul has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Thrul gets to his feet and stands over Knight, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Knight felt that one! Thrul unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Knight from any more punishment!
