The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yolovski is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kid changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Yolovski tries to clinch up but Kid circles away and keeps his distance.

Yolovski moves into range and clinches up with Kid.

Yolovski has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kid regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Yolovski is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Yolovski drops back looking for a leg! Kid is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kid manages to kick Yolovski off! Yolovski jumps back into Kid's guard.

Yolovski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Yolovski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kid looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kid looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kid!

Yolovski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kid gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Yolovski is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kid throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yolovski's body to avoid the submission. Yolovski has instead reached around Kid's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yolovski arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
