Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Galen Atkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Kong has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Galen Atkins's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atkins lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Atkins circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kong thows a body kick. Atkins tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Kong throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Atkins avoids the body shot from Kong.
Kong doesn't manage to clinch there - Atkins circles away.

Kong forces Atkins back against the cage and clinches.

Atkins breaks the clinch.
Atkins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kong throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Atkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Kong finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Kong stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Atkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kong drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Atkins dives on top into guard.

Kong is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Atkins has his hands clasped together but Kong extends and breaks Atkins's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Kong.
