The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Boy.

Askren takes the fight into the clinch.
Askren lands an elbow just above Boy 's eye.

It looks like Shy Boy has been cut.
Askren is leaning against Boy and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Askren doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Askren.
Boy is trying to force a seperation but Askren has the dominant position.
Askren struggles to land a body shot inside as Boy controls his hands.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Askren has him pressed against the cage.
Askren lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
We've been informed that Boy has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Boy is pressed against the cage. Askren pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Boy! Two more big strikes from Askren and Boy crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
