Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Michal Materla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bellic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Materla comes into the arena with Sobota - Do góry łeb blaring out of the sound system. Bellic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by GTA 4 Theme. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Michal Materla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Bellic!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bellic bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Materla's head backwards.
It looks like Michal Materla has been cut.
Materla with a lazy takedown attempt
and Bellic counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Materla fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Materla tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bellic defends well and Materla ends up having to push Bellic into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michal Materla. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A slapping body kick lands there for Bellic.
Materla takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bellic cracks Materla with an uppercut from hell and Materla crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bellic's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Materla is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bellic is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Oh Materla is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bellic passes Materla's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Materla seems to have got his legs back now.
Bellic decides to stand and escape the position.

Bellic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Materla circles away quickly and effectively.
Bellic lands with a shot to the body.
Materla fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Materla takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Materla takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bellic scores with a jab. Materla acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Materla is rocked!
Bellic throws a nice looking combination but Materla bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Materla went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Materla is breathing heavily.
Materla moves out of range of the strikes.
It looked like Materla was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Bellic lands a nice hook to Materla's body. Materla takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bellic. Materla does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bellic scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bellic dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Nice uppercut there from Bellic.
Michal Materla's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Bellic lands a big shot that drops Materla! Can he finish him?
Oh Materla is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bellic is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Materla seems to have got his legs back now.

Bellic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Bellic controls the position.
Materla sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Materla is looking for a sweep. Bellic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Bellic scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Materla wants to control but Bellic is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bellic tries to pass the half guard into mount. Materla knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Bellic is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Bellic dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Materla fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bellic avoids it really well and circles away.

Materla looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bellic is fending him off so far but Materla persists. Nope, Bellic circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A nice side step and Bellic releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bellic digs a good body shot into Materla's ribs.
Bellic lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Jeez, Michal Materla's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
David Bellic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bellic drops Materla with a huge uppercut! Materla drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Bellic is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Bellic!
After the fight, David Bellic was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
