Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Son Ho!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finley misses with a takedown
and Son Ho counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Finley shoots in and drives through. Son Ho sprawls well.
Finley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Son Ho was covering up waiting for the punch and Finley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Son Ho is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Son Ho is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Finley is standing up over Son Ho. Son Ho looks to escape but Finley dives into side control.
Finley wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Son Ho, who protects the arm well.
Son Ho is trying to buck Finley off.
Finley tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Son Ho wants to get back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Son Ho misses with a kick to the body
so Finley counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Son Ho is working an open guard so Finley takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Finley shoots in but Son Ho avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dylan Finley. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Son Ho throws a left and a right that both miss
and Finley holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Finley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Finley goes for a double leg but Son Ho avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Son Ho continues to drive forward.
Son Ho now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Son Ho wants to clinch.
Son Ho tries to clinch there but Finley circles away.

A head kick misses from Son Ho.
Finley gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Son Ho counters with a good low kick that Finley was not able to check.
King Son Ho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Son Ho tries to clinch but Finley moves out of range.
Finley circles away from the clinch attempt
and Finley counters with a body kick that stops Son Ho in his tracks momentarily.
Son Ho scores with a jab to the body.

Finley avoids the head kick by Son Ho.
Son Ho gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Finley content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Son Ho displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Finley.
Son Ho tries to clinch but Finley moves out of range.
Finley tries to counter by clinching up but Son Ho breaks away and moves out of range.

Finley is standing up over Son Ho. Son Ho looks to escape but Finley dives into side control.
Finley lands some shots froms side control.

Finley thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Son Ho tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

Son Ho wants to get back to his feet. He's half way up but Finley drags him back down with a jolt, managing to get his forearm deep under Son Ho 's chin! Son Ho is in real trouble! His face is turning bright red and he's forced to tap! This one is all over!
