The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves out of range of the body kick from Torres.
Jones throws a solid leg kick but Torres takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jones.
Jones lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Torres closes the distance and clinches.

Torres breaks from the clinch.
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Torres has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jones swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A little jabbing left from Torres on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
A thudding body kick lands there by Torres!

Torres shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Torres is looking to stand up but Jones won't let him.

Jones is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Torres defends well.

Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Torres doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Jones is tightening it up a little... Torres has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Torres reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Torres taps out! Nice BJJ there by Jones!
