Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Erick Leon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James Jones will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones moves to clinch but Leon breaks away
and Leon counters with an outside leg kick.
Jones tries to score a power double leg takedown but Leon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jones somewhat.
Jones doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Leon holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Leon breaks the clinch.
Jones throws a head kick but Leon moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Leon dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Leon's head and hops out.
Jones throws out a leg kick but Leon moves out of range and Jones only half commits.

Leon scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Leon staying calm.

You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Leon has control of an arm but Jones manages to advance to Leon's back!
Leon just trying to survive but Jones is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Leon is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Leon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Leon can't escape the position.

Jones looking for the choke from the back.
Jones thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Leon breaks Jones's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leon engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Jones wants to improve his position but instead Leon has moved into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Leon haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Jones tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Leon has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
