Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wandy Silver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ola Branko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wandy Silver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ola Branko!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silver tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Silver looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Branko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Silver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Branko on the ground.
Branko tries to free his leg and advance position but Silver is retaining full guard.
Branko thows a big elbow that misses.
Branko controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Branko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Silver utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Branko stays in close to Silver's body and controls the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Branko, as that shot connected.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch but Branko swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Branko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Branko stands and throws Silver's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Silver defending against the ground and pound.

Branko throws a strike aimed at the side of Silver's head but Silver avoids it well.
Branko tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Branko wants to control but Silver is keeping him busy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silver is looking to stand up but Branko isn't so interested in that idea.

Branko drives through with a takedown into guard.
Branko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Branko tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Silver takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Branko scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Silver to see if he's OK.
Branko misses with the ground and pound.
Branko slows the pace down.

Branko decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silver to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Branko shoots for a takedown but Silver saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Silver closes the distance but Branko moves to the side
and Branko counters with an inside leg kick.
Branko lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Silver looks to clinch

and Branko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Silver won't be happy with that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Branko seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Branko works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Branko creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Silver sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Ola Branko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Branko grinds an elbow into Silver's temple.
Silver on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Branko scores with a couple of short elbows.
Ola Branko has got the better of the ground game so far.

Silver takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Branko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Silver keeps working.

Branko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Silver down.
Branko sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Silver is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Silver is trying to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Branko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Branko has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Branko misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Branko postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Silver looks a forlorn figure.
Silver is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
BOOM! Branko connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Silver is bucking up trying to escape but Branko cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Silver is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Wandy Silver has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Silver is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Ola Branko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Branko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
