Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Deji Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonni Saastala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saastala has chosen Nyrkillä naamaan - Look at your ugly mug from mirror. as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saastala throws a jab but it's blocked by Aldo.
Aldo is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Saastala keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Saastala replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Aldo blocks it well.
Saastala misses with an attempted mid kick.
Good work by Aldo as he checks the leg kick.

Aldo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Saastala.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aldo.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Saastala! But no joy.

Saastala is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Aldo rather than just go for the knockout.
Aldo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Saastala fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aldo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Saastala is trying to maintain a safe position but Aldo gets an underhook and turns Saastala into the cage.

Aldo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Saastala moves in looking to clinch but Aldo pushes him off.
Saastala tries to clinch there but Aldo circles away.
Aldo attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Saastala fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aldo throws a push kick but Saastala slaps the foot to one side.
Saastala lands a leg kick that knocks Aldo off balance momentarily.

Aldo lets loose with a powerful body kick. Saastala will feel that in the morning.
Saastala lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Aldo goes down and covers up as Saastala starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jonni Saastala!
