Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ceoghan Cartwright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mingi Tyyp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cartwright comes to the cage accompanied by Disciples of Power - Born Unto Death. Mingi Tyyp has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ceoghan Cartwright's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ceoghan Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mingi Tyyp!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tyyp but Tyyp pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Cartwright fails with a takedown attempt.
Tyyp tries a head kick but it misses.
An inside leg kick lands from Tyyp.

Cartwright scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Cartwright is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Cartwright misses with a few strikes there.
Tyyp with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Cartwright changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyyp tries to avoid it but Cartwright manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyyp to the ground. Tyyp escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

No joy there for Cartwright, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Tyyp counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Tyyp.
Tyyp tries to throw a body punch but Cartwright avoids it by throwing Tyyp back against the cage.

Cartwright is trying to drag Tyyp to the mat but Tyyp just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Cartwright has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tyyp after a bit of a struggle.

A close round but Mingi Tyyp will probably get the nod.

Tyyp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cartwright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cartwright drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tyyp manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cartwright has Tyyp in his guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Cartwright has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Tyyp avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tyyp not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Tyyp got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cartwright has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tyyp has managed to get both his arms back between Cartwright's legs - danger averted.

Cartwright goes for a double leg but Tyyp avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tyyp continues to drive forward.

Cartwright jabs Tyyp right on the nose. Tyyp blinks but takes it well.

Mingi Tyyp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Tyyp is looking to slow Cartwright down with leg kicks.

A jab lands there for Cartwright.
Cartwright is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyyp.

Cartwright throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tyyp uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cartwright.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cartwright is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tyyp is trying to escape and Cartwright transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tyyp is forced to tap! Nice work there by Cartwright! Very nice indeed!
