Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Davidson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Fugees - Ready or not. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Davidson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davidson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. White sees it coming and avoids it easily.
White was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
White moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Davidson defending well as White loads up on a big left hand.
A slow jab from Davidson misses its intended target.
Nice uppercut there from Davidson.
Davidson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from White.

White clobbers Davidson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
White tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Davidson was well out of range. Poor timing from White.

It looks like Chris White has been cut.
White wants to stand and escape but Davidson is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Davidson controls the pace.

Davidson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
White tries to bum rush Davidson with a series of wild strikes but Davidson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

White throws a jab when Davidson was well out of range.
Davidson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Davidson throws a body shot but no joy.
Jab, jab by White - just one landing.
Davidson shoots in but no luck this time.
Davidson has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Davidson throws a jab but it's blocked by White.
White's jab looks to have found its range, popping Davidson under the eye.
White misses with an uppercut.
White moves forwards but Davidson connects with a nice, crisp jab.

White fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davidson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
White seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
White lunges at Davidson with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Davidson's hand.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Davidson dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on Davidson's head and hops out.
White takes a swing at Davidson's ribcage but misses.
Davidson steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from White.
White lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Davidson circles away quickly and effectively.
Davidson tries to counter with a clinch but White shakes him off and moves away.
Davidson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
White fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Davidson on the side of the head.
White misses with a looping right.
Davidson walks into a straight right hand from White.
White misses with a hook.
Davidson shoots in for a takedown but White shows good takedown defense.
A counter left hand to the body from White misses its target.
Chris White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Davidson.
White scores with a jab to the head.
White scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Davidson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.
White stalks Davidson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Davidson's face. Davidson staggers backwards, shaken.
White takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
White throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Davidson.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
