Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Reacher!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reacher misses with a wild combination.
Demaestri tries for a takedown but Reacher circles away easily
and Reacher counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Demaestri showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Reacher.
Demaestri closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reacher circles away.
Reacher closes the distance and lands a one-two.

enabling Reacher to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like Julian Eduardo Demaestri has been cut.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Julian Eduardo Demaestri. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reacher throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Demaestri counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reacher can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Reacher had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Demaestri defends it easily.
Demaestri content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Reacher is looking to stand back up but Demaestri counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Reacher.
Reacher tries to kick Demaestri off in order to stand up. Demaestri Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Reacher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Reacher felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Reacher on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Demaestri grinds an elbow into Reacher's temple.
Reacher takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Demaestri scoring with punches and elbows.
Reacher takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.


Reacher is rocked!
Demaestri scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Reacher is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Demaestri can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Julian Eduardo Demaestri!
A less than humble Julian Eduardo Demaestri misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Jack Reacher stepped up to the mic, saying 'Ill come back stronger..god bless'.
