Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chung LiFat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sadaq Omarzadah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chung LiFat!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sadaq Omarzadah!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omarzadah throws a hook to the side of LiFat's head but LiFat sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
LiFat shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Omarzadah as he jumps to the side.
Omarzadah misses with a double jab

and LiFat decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Omarzadah's guard.
LiFat postures up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Omarzadah can do anything to dispel that myth.
LiFat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Omarzadah works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LiFat is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Omarzadah pulls LiFat in close to prevent any damage.

LiFat stands and steps away. Omarzadah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
LiFat tries a head kick but it misses.
LiFat rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Omarzadah moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
LiFat uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Omarzadah.
LiFat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
LiFat is looking to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Omarzadah on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Omarzadah throws a left and a right that both miss

and LiFat counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Omarzadah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with LiFat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Omarzadah wants to sweep but no luck.
LiFat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
LiFat stays in close to Omarzadah's body and controls the position.
LiFat is looking to work some ground and pound but Omarzadah has wrist control.
LiFat working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Omarzadah working a defensive guard but LiFat manages to pass into side control anyway.
Omarzadah is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
LiFat slows the pace down.

LiFat has an Americana. Omarzadah didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! LiFat is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if LiFat hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Chung LiFat!
