Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Michael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jienaro Marfil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marfil's choice of entrance music: New Divide. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marfil lands a slapping body shot.
Marfil fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marfil throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Michael tries to counter by clinching up but Marfil breaks away and moves out of range.
Michael shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Marfil pinned against the cage. Marfil gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Michael shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marfil as he avoids it easily.
A head kick misses from Michael.

and Marfil counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jason Michael. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Michael is defended easily by Marfil.
A nice side step and Marfil releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A left and a right from Marfil both land. Nice combination.

Michael is rocked!
Marfil jabs Michael to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Oh Michael is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Michael is breathing heavily.
Marfil grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Michael takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Marfil cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
