Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiran Corkhill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ceasar Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morgan is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Fat Lip. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Keiran Corkhill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ceasar Morgan!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morgan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Corkhill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Morgan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Morgan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Corkhill can't keep his opponent in guard - Morgan advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Corkhill is not content to let Morgan control the position.

Morgan wants to work for an arm triangle but Corkhill is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morgan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Corkhill defends it well.

Corkhill tries to get to full guard but Morgan has control of the leg.
Corkhill keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Morgan passes the guard and advances to mount!
Corkhill tries to reverse the position but Morgan maintains control.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Morgan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Morgan is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Corkhill is surviving well by controlling Morgan's body position as best he can.
Corkhill wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Morgan is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Corkhill knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Corkhill for a finish.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Morgan is working the ground and pound. Can Corkhill escape?
Corkhill tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
My spies in Death Valley Training Facility inform me that Morgan has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Corkhill is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Morgan moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Corkhill has worked his arm free - good work by Corkhill!

Morgan postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Corkhill is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Morgan is trying to control the action in half guard but Corkhill is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Morgan moves nicely into side control.
Morgan scores with a couple of short elbows.

Morgan tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Morgan has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Corkhill is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Morgan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Morgan seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Corkhill does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Morgan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Morgan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Corkhill has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Morgan is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Morgan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Corkhill has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's time! Corkhill's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Horrible takedown attempt by Corkhill or perhaps it was just good defense by Morgan, which made it look bad.

and Morgan counters with a left and a right that stings Corkhill.

Morgan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Corkhill to the ground. Morgan is now in Corkhill's guard.

Corkhill is looking for a triangle but Morgan pushes his legs off easily.
Morgan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Morgan stands and throws Corkhill's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Corkhill regains half guard.
Morgan wants to free his trapped foot but Corkhill is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Corkhill is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Morgan pulls his head out easily.

Morgan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Morgan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Corkhill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Morgan.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Morgan is trying to work for a kimura but Corkhill is defending well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Ceasar Morgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Morgan shoots for a takedown but Corkhill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Corkhill drops down looking for a counter takedown but Morgan sprawls and moves away.
Morgan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Corkhill tries to avoid it but Morgan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Corkhill to the ground. Corkhill escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Corkhill dives in and grabs Morgan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Morgan pushes down on Corkhill's head and hops out.
Morgan doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Corkhill shoots for a takedown but Morgan saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Morgan drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Corkhill defends it well.
Corkhill shoots in for a takedown but Morgan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Keiran Corkhill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Corkhill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Morgan pinned against the cage. Morgan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Morgan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Corkhill is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
