The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veiga looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Morris is fending him off so far but Veiga persists. Nope, Morris circles away and we're back to standing.
Veiga closes the distance and clinches up with Morris, looking for a takedown. Veiga pushes Morris against the cage but Morris circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morris rushes Veiga and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Morris avoiding damage as Veiga throws knees to the body.
Morris lands a takedown into guard.
Morris thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Veiga is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Morris dives into side control.
Veiga is trying to get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Morris is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Veiga is trying to escape and Morris transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Veiga is forced to tap! Nice work there by Morris! Very nice indeed!
