Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Devas Tator!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Iron Igor!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Franklyn Lucas and Eddie Farnsworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Igor just misses with a punch to the body.
Tator is looking to slow Igor down with leg kicks.
Tator takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Tator uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Igor.
Igor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tator looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Igor wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tator checks a leg kick.
Tator is looking to counter the offense by Igor and move into the clinch.
Tator takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've been hearing reports that Tator has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Igor chopping away at his opponent's legs.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Igor has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Igor throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Tator.

It looks like Devas Tator has been cut.
Igor throws a leg kick which misses Tator's front leg but catches the back leg as Tator tries to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tator takes a jab right on the kisser.
Igor tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tator is able to avoid easily.

Devas Tator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Igor does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Tator takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Igor lands a nice leg kick that just misses Tator's sensitive parts.

Tator darts in and clinches Igor up against the cage.

Igor tries a body shot but Tator blocks it.

Igor tries to throw a body punch but Tator avoids it by throwing Igor back against the cage.

Igor lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Tator.

Igor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tator looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Igor tries to sprawl but Tator drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tator lands a nice short elbow.
Igor tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Tator has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Tator is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Igor can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Tator lands a heavy elbow.
Igor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tator lands a big shot there that rocks Igor but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Tator postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Igor looks a forlorn figure.

Igor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Tator looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tator is pulling down on Igor's head to control his posture.
Tator wants to hit a switch here but Igor passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tator there!

Tator has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Igor is not going to allow Tator to sit and survive in this position.
I really don't envy Tator right now.
Tator is working hard here to advance position.

Igor fails to land with a series of punches.
Tator goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Igor, as that shot connected.
Tator tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tator misses with a low kick.
Iron Igor seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A punch lands to the side of Tator 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Tator misses with a right hand
and Igor counters with a thumping low kick.
Tator swings for the body but Igor moves out of range.
A punch combination from Igor misses.
Igor tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Igor tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tator was well out of range. Poor timing from Igor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sloppy strikes from Tator. Those never looked like landing.
A little jabbing left from Igor on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tator tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Igor swivels and escapes.
Iron Igor is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Igor appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

enabling Igor to counter with a crisp jab.
Igor fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tator.
Igor throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tator has Igor up against the cage in a clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Tator.
A left hand lands to the body for Tator.
Tator misses with some punches.
Tator struggles to land a body shot inside as Igor controls his hands.
Igor throws a head punch that misses.
Igor blocks an uppercut.
Igor misses with a punch to the body.
Igor's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Igor breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Tator gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Igor counters with a left and a right that stings Tator.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Igor moves away from the strike by Tator.
Tator throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Igor sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Tator on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Igor. Igor obviously looking to wear him down.
Igor scores with a three punch combo!

Tator is rocked!
Igor feints a jab and as Tator dips his head, Igor unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Tator right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Tator falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Igor smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
