Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kung Lao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dewey Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kung Lao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dewey Robertson!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Robertson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Lao could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lao wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Robertson manages to pass to side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Robertson shoots for a takedown but Lao saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

It looks like Kung Lao has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Robertson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lao but Lao pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Lao stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Robertson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lao is fending him off so far but Robertson persists. Nope, Lao circles away and we're back to standing.

Robertson shoots in and drives through. Lao sprawls well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lao's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
