Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Evan Wilkinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kristina Harebell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kristina Harebell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Evan Wilkinson's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Wilkinson checks a leg kick.
Harebell throws a leg kick

and Wilkinson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Wilkinson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Harebell after a bit of a struggle.
Harebell gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wilkinson.

Harebell gets control of Wilkinson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Harebell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harebell has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Harebell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilkinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Wilkinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harebell has his foot on Wilkinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilkinson works his way back into a safe position though.

Wilkinson is posturing up here but Harebell has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Wilkinson tries to roll out but it's too tight and Wilkinson has to tap! Slick submission there by Harebell!

Kristina Harebell decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
