The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jensen has his takedown stuffed
letting Volkov counter with a right hand.

Volkov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jensen sprawls well initially but Volkov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jensen regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jensen wants to sweep but no luck.
Jensen being controlled here, momentarily.
Volkov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jensen is keeping the position for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Volkov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Volkov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jensen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Volkov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Volkov trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Volkov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Volkov wants to pass the guard but Jensen is keeping the position.

Volkov thows a huge punch but Jensen dodges it nicely.

Volkov is stalling here. Jensen is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Volkov seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jensen has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Volkov tries to improve position but can't.

Jensen goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Volkov has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Jensen but great work by Volkov.
Volkov has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Jensen!
Volkov is landing with some decent strikes but Jensen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Volkov lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Jensen is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Volkov postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Jensen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Jensen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
