Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markus Fittz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Markus Fittz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fittz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Despite the aggression on Hunt's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Hunt closes the distance and clinches up with Fittz, looking for a takedown. Hunt pushes Fittz against the cage but Fittz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Fittz misses with a few strikes there.
Hunt looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hunt looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Fittz is fending him off so far but Hunt persists. Nope, Fittz circles away and we're back to standing.
Markus Fittz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Hunt.
Hunt dives in and grabs Fittz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fittz pushes down on Hunt's head and hops out.
Fittz scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Fittz, which made it look bad.
Fittz swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Mike Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunt has his takedown stuffed
and Fittz counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hunt looks winded!
Fittz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hunt circles away quickly and effectively.
Hunt is looking for the big counter here.
Fittz misses with a few strikes there.
Fittz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hunt stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fittz misses with a two punch combination.
Fittz throws a good cross that connects.
Hunt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fittz's guard.
Fittz will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Hunt trying to stand up but can't free himself from Fittz's guard.

Fittz pulls Hunt in to control the position.
Hunt stops Fittz from standing up.
Fittz pushes Hunt off and scrambles back to his feet.
Nice combo by Fittz! Oh, that's hurt him - Hunt falls to the canvas and Fittz follows him into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fittz has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hunt shoots for a takedown but Fittz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Fittz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hunt dives in for a single leg takedown but Fittz sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Fittz lands a jab to Hunt's midsection.
Fittz connects with a right hand. Hunt shakes it off.
Fittz throws a right and a left that Hunt avoids nicely.
Fittz catches Hunt napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Hunt to the canvas!
Hunt is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fittz stands up from Hunt's guard - Fittz perhaps looking for a knockout.
Hunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Fittz finish him?
BOOM! Fittz lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hunt. Hunt tries to recover but Fittz is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hunt lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Markus Fittz!
After winning the bout, Markus Fittz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
