Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frances Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Captain Carolean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carolean comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Visa Från Utanmyra kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Captain Carolean will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Carolean rushes Holt and presses him up against the cage.
Holt has Carolean pressed against the cage, preventing Carolean from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Holt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Carolean is leaning against Holt and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Holt is trying to pull guard but Carolean turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Carolean's coach down at The Factory was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Carolean's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Holt fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frances Holt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carolean walks away with a smile on his face. Holt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Carolean lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Frances Holt has been cut.
Carolean lands with a nice body punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holt takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Holt closes the distance but Carolean moves to the side
and Carolean counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Holt could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Carolean drives through and clinches with Holt against the cage.
Carolean drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holt gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Holt wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carolean has him pressed against the cage.
Carolean tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Carolean can't break the clinch.
Holt wants to get back to striking at distance but Carolean won't allow it.
Holt gets underhooks to prevent Carolean's takedown attempt.

Carolean breaks from the clinch.
Carolean dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Carolean darts in and clinches Holt up against the cage.
Carolean is looking to take this one to the mat.
Holt jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Carolean walks away with a smile on his face. Holt gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A clash of legs there as Holt blocks the low kick.

Carolean lands with a shot to the body.
Carolean scores with a jab to the jaw.

Holt is rocked!
Carolean walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Holt drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Carolean swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Holt's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
