Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Skank Pier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Long Timer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, George Skank Pier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Long Timer!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skank Pier looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Timer shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skank Pier as he jumps to the side.
Skank Pier tries to counter with a takedown but Timer is quick to defend against it.
Skank Pier stuffs the takedown attempt from Timer. Timer gets slowly back to his feet.
Timer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Skank Pier as he avoids it easily.
Skank Pier attempts a counter takedown but Timer avoids it well and moves away.
George Skank Pier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Long Timer.
Skank Pier avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Timer tries to close the distance and clinch but Skank Pier swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Skank Pier drops down looking for a counter takedown but Timer sprawls and moves away.
Skank Pier keeps the fight on the outside.
Skank Pier tries to counter with a takedown but Timer is quick to defend against it.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Timer has eaten all the pies!
Timer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Skank Pier sprawls well. Skank Pier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Timer gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Timer with that takedown attempt.
Timer throws a head kick but Skank Pier moves out of range.
Skank Pier changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Timer tries to clinch

and Skank Pier counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Skank Pier.

Skank Pier lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Skank Pier is in close to Timer's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Skank Pier has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Skank Pier is keen to just control but Timer is a slippery customer.
Timer tries to get to full guard but Skank Pier has control of the leg.
Skank Pier wants to take a breather but Timer is having none of it.
Timer is trying to control but can't.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Timer can do anything to dispel that myth.
Skank Pier throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Skank Pier lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Timer taking some punishment here, with Skank Pier in his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Timer misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Timer is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Timer is looking for a sweep.
Skank Pier wants to control but Timer is keeping him busy.
Skank Pier works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Skank Pier lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Timer down.
Skank Pier is looking to take a break and control but Timer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Skank Pier landing strikes.
Skank Pier scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Timer is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Skank Pier can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
