Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Scott on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bauer. Bauer obviously looking to wear him down.

Scott doesn't manage to clinch there - Bauer circles away.
Scott connects with a jab.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Scott checks a leg kick.

Scott is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Scott has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Bauer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Scott bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bauer's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Scott gets to his feet. Bauer looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Scott shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Scott was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Jack Bauer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bauer feints and as Scott raises his hands in defense, Bauer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bauer bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
