Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Des Leppard!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leppard blocks a jab.

Leppard feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Leppard distracts Mckinney with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Leppard makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Mckinney seems keen to control Leppard's posture.
Leppard scoring with some ground and pound.
Leppard throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mckinney is working hard here to advance position.
Leppard trying to control the position from guard on top but Mckinney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Leppard not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Leppard postures up in Mckinney's guard and throws a big left but Mckinney blocks it.
Mckinney keeping moving, preventing Leppard from controlling successfully.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Leppard lands a body punch.

Leppard turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Leppard with the ground and pound but Mckinney regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Leppard is looking to take a break and control but Mckinney is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Leppard wants to pass the guard but Mckinney is defending well.
Mckinney has hold of Leppard's hands but Leppard slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Leppard has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mckinney wants to control the action here but instead Leppard manages to pass to full mount!
Mckinney really is a fat lump.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Leppard cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Leppard has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mckinney's face.


Mckinney is rocked!


It looks like Olen Mckinney has been cut.

Leppard is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Mckinney has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Mckinney!
Oh Mckinney is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Leppard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Leppard looking for a triangle here. Mckinney is fighting it but it looks tight! Leppard pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mckinney is tapping out - this one is all over!
