The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Collasus connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carwin. Carwin circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Mubaracus Carwin has been cut.
Collasus displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Carwin throws out the jab.
Carwin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Some bone on bone action there as Collasus checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Carwin throws a nice looking combination but Collasus bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
And Collasus tries to counter it with a takedown but Carwin pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Collasus dances in with a quick combination. Carwin is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Collasus snaps Carwin's head back. Carwin stumbles backwards against the cage. Collasus steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Carwin's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Carwin just didn't come prepared.
