Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Juji Gatame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Hanks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gatame might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Storm. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Craig Hanks enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hanks goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Gatame looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Gatame displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hanks throws out the jab.
Gatame half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Hanks takes a swing at Gatame's ribcage but misses.

Hanks throws a lazy right hand but Gatame sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hanks uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gatame.

Gatame takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hanks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Hanks on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Gatame is trying to drag Hanks to the mat but Hanks just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Hanks smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Gatame throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hanks sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Hanks buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Hanks thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hanks fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gatame looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Gatame decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hanks is trying to maintain the position but Gatame is very close to passing his half guard.
Hanks moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Gatame stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hanks swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gatame is in close to Hanks's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Gatame loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Hanks bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gatame's guard.

Gatame has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hanks should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gatame has tightened it up now! Hanks should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Juji Gatame bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
