Johnson comes into the arena with The Town by Macklemore blaring out of the sound system. Steve Rogers is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rogers lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rogers.
Rogers looks to land a combination but Johnson avoids it well.
Rogers throws a series of punches but Johnson moves out of range.
Johnson darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Rogers defending well as Johnson loads up on a big left hand.
Johnson swats away the attempt to clinch by Rogers.
Rogers lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Johnson backs up against the cage.
Johnson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Rogers.
Rogers looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Johnson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rogers throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rogers.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rogers has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Johnson looks to throw the jab but Rogers is out of range.

Rogers throws a half hearted mid kick.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
Johnson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rogers.
Rogers lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rogers throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson.
Rogers throws a jab but it's blocked by Johnson.
Rogers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A slow jab from Johnson misses its intended target.
Johnson cracks Rogers on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Rogers falls backwards against the cage. Johnson follows up with more strikes that drop Rogers to his knees. Johnson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Rogers! This one is all over!
