The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ross fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pain, pushing him back against the cage.

Ross wants to finish this one by submission but Pain is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ross.
Ross lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ross drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pain manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ross has Pain in his guard.
