Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Saintly Fish!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andre Moss!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fish shoots in and gets a takedown into Moss's guard.
Fish might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Fish drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fish jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Fish wants to control from the top but Moss keeps moving.
Moss is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fish advances position into side control!

Fish tries for a kimura but Moss is defending well.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fish grinds an elbow into Moss's temple.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Fish is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Moss has escaped the position, nice work there.
Fish looks up at the clock and then as Moss takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Fish smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Moss is trying to get back to his feet.
Moss tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Fish wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moss, who protects the arm well.

Fish is trying to get an arm triangle but Moss is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Fish is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Moss knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Fish misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Fish misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fish working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Fish tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fish has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Fish has hold of Moss's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Moss tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fish cranks the arm and Moss screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Moss, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Saintly Fish!
