Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leslie Saunders (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hang Tuah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hang Tuah will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Leslie Saunders!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hang Tuah!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saunders moves into range and clinches up with Tuah.
Saunders holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Saunders stalling in the clinch but Tuah improves position.
Saunders wants a takedown but no success here.

Tuah has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Saunders clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Saunders trying to control the hands but Tuah breaks the grip.
Saunders's corner are yelling at him, telling him to just focus on controlling Tuah's hands.
Saunders wants to escape the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saunders looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Saunders manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tuah's guard. Nice work there by Saunders.
Tuah wants to control but Saunders passes easily into half guard.
Tuah is trying to maintain the position but Saunders is very close to passing his half guard.
Saunders is controlling the pace.
Tuah is doing well to control the position and prevent Saunders from advancing to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Saunders content to control rather than advance.
Tuah is trying to control but Saunders passes into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuah tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Saunders thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Saunders controls the position.
Tuah is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
You can see the frustration on Tuah's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Saunders is staying tight to Tuah's torso, preventing him from escaping.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tuah tries to improve position but can't.
Saunders trying to control the position but Tuah is working away.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tuah tries to clinch but Saunders moves out of range.

Tuah gets a takedown into half guard.

Tuah is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Saunders is pressing down on Tuah's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Saunders seems keen to control Tuah's posture.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Hang Tuah will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!



Saunders closes the distance and clinches.

Tuah works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Tuah trying to control but Saunders is working from the bottom.
Tuah not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Tuah being controlled here momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saunders managing to control the position.
Saunders continues to stall.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Saunders can't keep his opponent in guard - Tuah advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Saunders keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tuah wants to take a breather but Saunders is having none of it.
Saunders is looking to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Tuah feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tuah looking to sit in guard and control but Saunders gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Saunders wants to get up but he can't break Tuah's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Saunders is stalling in the full guard.

Tuah wants to improve his position but instead Saunders has moved into half guard.
Saunders is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Tuah has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Saunders escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Saunders!
Saunders is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Tuah's shoulder. That is not cool.
Saunders wants to control but Tuah is keeping him busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Saunders has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Tuah is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Saunders's half guard.
Saunders tries to get to full guard but Tuah has control of the leg.
Saunders moves into full guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Saunders not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hang Tuah showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Saunders's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Tuah decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tuah is trying to control. Saunders wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tuah sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Saunders defending well though.
Saunders has his hands clasped together around Tuah's back. He's all about the action.
Tuah is trying to control the action in half guard but Saunders is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Saunders holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Saunders regains full guard. Nicely done.
Saunders keeping moving, preventing Tuah from controlling successfully.
Tuah wants to get up but he can't break Saunders's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Tuah takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Tuah misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Saunders.

Saunders gets caught flat footed, as Tuah shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tuah is fighting to break Saunders's control of his arms but Saunders is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Saunders is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Saunders is adopting a defensive guard.
Saunders keeping moving, preventing Tuah from controlling successfully.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Saunders can't keep his opponent in guard - Tuah advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Tuah is looking to stall here but Saunders recovers full guard.
Tuah postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Leslie Saunders has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hang Tuah is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Leslie Saunders is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tuah tries to clinch but Saunders moves out of range.

Hang Tuah comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Tuah winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
