Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George St Tierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zak Pomona (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zak Pomona will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Pomona gets caught flat footed, as St Tierre shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

St Tierre thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Pomona had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. St Tierre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pomona Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take St Tierre's back instead.
Pomona lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

St Tierre breaks Pomona's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Pomona has his foot on St Tierre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. St Tierre works his way back into a safe position though.

Pomona shoots in for a double leg but St Tierre sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

St Tierre darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

St Tierre looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

St Tierre goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pomona turns into him and now he's in St Tierre's guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Pomona cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Pomona is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but St Tierre has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pomona is looking to defend but St Tierre has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pomona! St Tierre pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pomona taps out and this one is all over!
