Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between iLL Nasty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kylie Hyde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for iLL Nasty has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hyde clinches up with Nasty and pushes him back against the cage.

Hyde turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hyde manages to end up in side control.

Hyde working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Nasty seems a little lost for a moment, as Hyde dominates the positioning.

Hyde wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nasty, who protects the arm well.

Hyde looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Nasty regains half guard.
Hyde wants to pass the guard but Nasty is defending well.
Nasty tries to roll over but Hyde keeps him under control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hyde postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hyde wanted to stand there but Nasty had control of the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
