Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boogie Knight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boogie Knight is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Boogie Knight!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Knight misses the target.
Brown appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Knight scoring well with a low kick there.
Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Knight connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
A jab lands there for Knight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
Knight is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Brown with a body shot.
Knight misses with a looping left.
Brown gets cracked there but stands up to it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Knight fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Brown is out of range.

Brown tries to clinch but Knight moves out of range.
A head kick by Brown misses
and Knight counters with an inside leg kick.
Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Brown takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Knight stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Knight avoids it really well and circles away.
Knight throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Brown's head.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Knight manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knight is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard.

Knight not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Knight throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Knight got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brown has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Knight has managed to get both his arms back between Brown's legs - danger averted.
Knight is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Knight avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Knight stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Brown swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Knight is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brown.

Knight felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Knight keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Brown is really struggling to control Knight but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Knight feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Browns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Brown has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Knight.

Knight drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Knight is looking for the KO!

Brown is rocked!
Knight moves in close and cracks Brown with a massive right hand! Brown, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Knight!
