Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
For fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pate manages to avoid it.
Pate throws a lazy uppercut
and For counters with a two punch combo.
For is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
For lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Pate throws an off balance right hand
and For counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
For looks to score with a jab to the body but Pate is just out of range.
Pate half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
For works Pate's body with a nice hook.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

For is trying to force a seperation but Pate has the dominant position.
Pate ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pate no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pate is on top in guard.
For has momentary wrist control but Pate slips an elbow through the middle.
Pate keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of For's head.

Pate connects with a couple of short punches.
Pate works over For with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
For wants to stand up but Pate is controlling him.

Pate is working For over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
For is still in real trouble! Can Pate finish him?

Pate loads up on a big left hand. For felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Pate looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! For can't hide his disappointment, as Pate celebrates the victory.
