Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bjarki Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Griplock Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Griplock Jones has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bjarki Nelson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Griplock Jones!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jones defends it nicely.
Jones dives in and grabs Nelson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Nelson pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.
Nelson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nelson off to one side.

Jones has managed to clinch.
Jones tries to pull guard but Nelson holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.
Nelson is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bjarki Nelson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Nelson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Nelson has an Americana. Jones didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Nelson is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Nelson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
